Description: The Indian Creek Kids Triathlon will take place on Sunday June 8, 2008 at 9:00 am at Indian Creek Recreational Area (BIG BEACH). Your child will race in the age group according to their age as of December 31, 2008. The event will be USAT sanctioned with professional timing. Race will be capped at 100 participants. All participants are required to have an annual USAT license for the race. If your child already has a current USAT license, you are not required to purchase a new one. Kids USAT license(s) can be purchased at packet-pickup Fees: $15 pre-registered through May 15 plus a $5 annual USAT license fee if applicable.
$20 from May 16 through June 1, plus a $5 annual USAT license fee if applicable.
$25 June 1- race day registration, plus a $5 annual USAT license fee if applicable.
CHILDREN OF INDIAN CREEK TRIATHLON REGISTERED PARTICIPANTS WILL RECEIVE A FREE ENTRY INTO THE EVENT

500 slots already taken!!! On Tuesday, November 13, 2007 at 2:00pm CST the countdown officially begins to one of the most exciting events in the sport of Triathlon. The web site will open and registration will begin for the inaugural running of The Ochsner Ironman New Orleans 70.3. Scheduled for Sunday, April 5, 2009, the Ochsner Ironman New Orleans 70.3 will take competitors through a city full of history and change as New Orleans moves forward from the devastation of Hurricane Katrina.
Athletes will swim a spectator-friendly point-to-point 1.2-mile swim just 30 feet from shore along the sea wall in Lake Pontchartrain. Following completion of the swim, athletes will bike a single-loop, fast and flat 56-mile bike course through bayou country before heading to the French Quarter on the 13.1-mile point-to-point run course. Competitiors will run the last two miles of the half marathon through the French Quarter where thousands of residents and tourists await them at the finish line in world-famous Jackson Square.
